Me gradué como profesor en "Lenguaje y Literatura" en mi ciudad natal San Miguel, El Salvador y me dediqué a mi gran pasión--ser profesor. Trabajé en dos de los más prestigiosos colegios privados en mi ciudad donde impartí clases por más de una década dando distintas materias como "Estudios Sociales,” "Seminario de Investigación," y "Orientación para los Adolescentes." También fui el director del grupo teatral, montando musicales como ”Vaselina”, ”Chicago”, ”Lisístrata”, “La Novicia Rebelde” en el Teatro Nacional Francísco Gavidia.
Ahora vivo en un país tan maravilloso que te dá muchos logros y te permite cumplir metas, pero también te pone muchos obstáculos qué como todo ínmigrante hay que enfrentar. Uno de ellos es el reto del idioma.
Como cualquiera el idioma ha sido mi reto diario, pero gracias a personas que me rodean y la experiencia misma he comprendido que solo mejorando el inglés se puede obtener un mejor trabajo,un salario digno y el respeto a mis derechos humanos y laborales.
Hoy en día aunque sigo mejorando mi inglés y conservo mi acento, he logrado muchas cosas que solo la práctica del inglés te dá, abriéndome más puertas educativas, de trabajo y socialización.
Poco a poco, voy a lograr las metas que cada ínmigrante traé al llegar a éste increíble país.

I graduated as a teacher of "Language and Literature" in my hometown of San Miguel, El Salvador. I worked in two of the most prestigious private schools in my city where I taught for more than a decade, teaching different subjects such as 'Social Studies,” "Research Seminar," and "Orientation for Adolescents." I was also the director of the theater group, staging musicals ”Grease,” ”Chicago,” ”Lisístrata,” and “The Sound of Music” in the National Theater Francísco Gavidia Now I live in a wonderful country that allows you to fulfill your goals but also puts a lot of obstacles that all immigrants have to face. One of them is the challenge of language.
Language has been my daily challenge, but thanks to people around me and my experiences I have understood that only by improving English can you get a better job, a decent salary and respect for my human and labor rights.
Today, although I'm still improving my English and keeping my accent, I have achieved many things that only the practice of English can give you, opening more doors for education, work and social life.
Little by little, I will achieve the goals that each immigrant has in this incredible country.
